Tyson tried to weave through the protesters, being squashed and squeezed as he maneuvered through the crowd. He muttered several colorful curses under his breath. These fools really had to disrupt the entire street. Cars were basically stuck.
"My siblings of mankind, the evils of the Robotic menace from the stars, has once again returned to our home to continue their war on foreign soil with no care for us the people only caring about their selves. Yet the government has bent a knee to these foreign invaders"! an older man yelled through a megaphone tightly grasped in his hand.
Tyson then finally pushed through the tightly packed crowd into a back alley. The crowd was getting riled up from the man's speech he hoped this didn't become a riot. Last thing he wanted to be caught in the middle of was one of those. American's had the right to protest so not much the Authorities could do about it unless it turned into a riot. But blocking off a whole street instead of holding it in lets say a park was a decision he didn't agree with, his best guess was so the protesters could get as many people to listen to them as possible trying to sway them to their side.
But he was no mind reader. Pulling a carton of cigarettes out of his pants pocket and lighter out of the pocket on his opposite side. He placed cigarette to where it was hanging from his lips. Then lit it with his lighter. Then he pocketed his lightet and thr carton of cigarettes. Sighing as he smoked he quit while he was in college now he's back to smoking again the stress from going homeleds caused him to relapse.
Tyson sighed there was no way he was going to get through that can of tightly packed sardines. And this alleyway of course was a dead end. of course it was, just his luck honestly. All he wanted to do was get back to the homeless shelter before nightfall so he could help out a bit before it got super late didn't really seem like that was going to happen with the sun setting like that. And he really wasn't willing to push through all those people again.

“Their war.”
What a load of crap, Nick thought. If these anti-Autobot losers had an original thought in their head they may think to research. First of all, there wasn’t a war to continue. The Great War had ended centuries ago, but who was he to get in the middle of this? Loudly speaking out about it all?
Well, he could. But Nick was also not going to get into a shouting match with the grown man leading the procession.
Did that make him mature? Not exactly. He figured he was just waiting for the right time to throw the balloon full of paint at the looney toon doing the speech. And that moment was coming right about….
WHIZZZZ!
Now.
He watched as the dude giving the speech was completely covered from head to toe with a big old grin. Standing on the branch of a tree where he hoped none of the now scurrying crowd would see him. But did shout out: “Go home losers!” he added. “You’ll thank the Autobots later!”
He hopped down quickly and bolted for the same alleyway… Yikes. “Damn it! Why is it always a dead end?” He shouted as he threw his hands up in frustration.

Ty was smoking his cigarette the smoke from it billowing upward towards the evening sun. Mostly tuning out the impassioned speech given by the protester. Wasn't really any of his business. Just had to wait for the crowd to thin out a little.
Or he would have if a paint balloon. Hadn't struck the lead protester in the face his cigarette fell out his mouth in suprise landing on the cement below. Tyson sighed, figured everything was coming up snake eyes for him lately. Couldn't even kill time smoking without shit going down. He then saw boy enter the alley, considering the look on the kid's face most likely the perpetrator of the paint balloon. Tyson sighed he should just let the kid get caught he saw an old industrial dumpster, walking over to it he opened one of the flaps.
"Wanna escape best option is to get in the dumpster you'll just smell worse than a wet cat after you get out. I'll help you up if you dont have the upper body strength," Ty said to the younger male deciding to help him out even if he didn't necessarily agree with him. He'd chew him out afterwards if they both made it out of this unscathed.

Crap get in the dumpster?
Who was Nick kidding, he was a street kid. If anything he smelled like that regularly when he didn’t sneak in a public shower anyway. So he took a deep breath, did he do that now? Or did he just let the crowd get him? Forget it! That was an easy choice.
“Eh, I bet I’ve smelled WAY worse.” Nick admitted. “I can get in just fine. But this better not be a trick. This is the third time I’ve pissed that dude off this month!”
And it had been worth it, Nick noted smugly to himself as he climbed inside with some difficulty. Anti-Autobot snobs like those guys definitely didn’t deserve an ounce of respect. Even if you didn’t agree with the Bots there was no reason for nasty and hurtful protests.
But god did it reek! It smelled like… Well not so savory things that almost made Nick want to cuss up a storm. But whatever.
